A quick reference for the terms we use in the Forest Bus experience. Some wording has changed over time — this page lists the current canonical names.

Concept We call it Former wording / notes
A message you send us (question or request) Inquiry Previously called a "case" in some places.
Your reserved purchase unit Order "Purchase" is reserved for tax/legal context only.
The process of returning money to you Refund Distinct from "return" (the process of sending an item back).
Everything about getting your order to you Ship / shipping "Ship" is the act of dispatch; "shipping" refers to the carrier service (e.g., Japan Post).
A sales model where the item is produced after your order Made to order after purchase Use the same wording on product pages and process pages.
The state where purchase reservations are being accepted Reservations open Standardized as "Reservations open" across sales messaging.
A boarding ticket saved/compared as a candidate Candidate boarding ticket Matches the term used in product-page comparison flows.
A capacity slot reserved to carry out production Production slot Also used consistently in stock/capacity explanations.
The expected timeframe when your item should arrive Estimated delivery window Different from ship date; this indicates expected arrival.
Your preferred name to be shown on the product Name preference Use this exact term in forms and review screens.
A dedicated page to review/edit passenger identity details Passenger page (Identity Page) Keep "Identity Page" as the canonical English label.
