Scope of Application
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the website and services operated by forest bus ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Orders and Contract Formation
Your order is an offer to buy. A purchase contract is formed when, after confirming payment, our order confirmation email accepting your order reaches you. If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you promptly and refund any payment received.
Payment
We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Alipay through Stripe. Eligible methods depend on your device and payment conditions and are displayed at checkout. Payment is due when you order. The date your account is debited depends on your card issuer or payment provider.
Shipping
- Shipping area: Japan domestic only
- Shipping method: Letter Pack Plus (Japan Post)
- Made-to-order items enter production after you order, with estimated delivery 13–22 days from the order date.
- In-stock finished items ship within 3 days of the order date.
- These are calendar days, including weekends and public holidays. For in-stock items, the 3-day period is for dispatch, not arrival.
- Shipping fees: Flat ¥600 (tax included). Free shipping on orders of ¥10,000 or more (tax included).
Please note that deliveries may be delayed due to weather conditions, transportation circumstances, or other factors beyond our control.
About Handmade Products
Our products are handmade, so slight variations in shape, color, texture, and size may occur within the range explained before purchase. This does not exclude our responsibility for damage, materials or specifications that differ from the description, or other failures to conform to the contract.
Returns and Cancellations
Change-of-mind returns and exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges of unopened, unused, resalable products if you contact us within 7 days after delivery. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming products
Please contact us when you discover damage, an incorrect delivery, or another failure to conform to the contract. After checking the issue, we will provide repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund following cancellation, as applicable under the law. We cover necessary return and replacement shipping costs. The change-of-mind deadline and item-condition requirements above do not apply to these claims.
Request a return or exchange through our contact form. Tell us your order number and the condition of the product, and wait for our return instructions before sending it back. You can also contact us if you do not know your order number or cannot sign in. The deadline is assessed when we receive your request; time spent waiting for our reply does not count against you.
Order cancellations
Change-of-mind cancellations are accepted before shipping preparation begins. Contact us if you are unsure whether preparation has started. We assess the status at the time we receive your request. Once shipping preparation begins, your statutory rights to cancel for our failure to perform the contract or other legal grounds are unaffected.
Refund processing
Refunds normally return to the original payment method. We initiate the refund within 5 business days after approval and receipt of necessary information and any required returned-item inspection. Posting depends on your payment provider; cards typically take 5–10 business days after processing. Contact us with your inquiry reference if it has not appeared.

For handmade variations and differences in how colors appear on screens, see “About Handmade Products” above. These Terms do not restrict your statutory rights regarding non-conforming products or our failure to perform the contract.
Intellectual Property
Images, designs and text on this site belong to us or their respective rightsholders. Except for private copying, lawful quotation and other uses permitted by law, reproduction, republication, modification or redistribution requires the rightsholder’s permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms in accordance with law where this benefits customers generally, or is consistent with the contract’s purpose and reasonable in light of the need for and substance of the change and other circumstances. We will announce the changes, their scope and effective date on this site before they take effect. We will not retroactively reduce rights relating to existing orders. Where these requirements are not met, we will obtain consent as necessary.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Japanese law governs these Terms. We will first seek to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. The Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court has agreed jurisdiction, without excluding proceedings before other courts with jurisdiction under law.
